ADHD / ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER

  • Managing Daily Responsibilities: Difficulty with organization, time management, and prioritization can make handling household chores, work tasks, and caring for children particularly challenging.

  • Emotional Regulation: Women with ADHD often struggle with controlling their emotions, leading to frequent feelings of overwhelm, frustration, anxiety, and mood swings. Managing stress can be particularly difficult.

  • Social Interactions: ADHD can impact relationships due to forgetfulness, inattentiveness, or impulsive behavior. Women with ADHD might find it challenging to maintain social commitments, leading to feelings of isolation, guilt, or strained relationships.

  • Self-Esteem and Identity: Constantly facing difficulties and feeling different can affect self-esteem and self-worth. Women with ADHD might struggle with feelings of inadequacy or failure, especially if their symptoms are misunderstood or misdiagnosed.

  • Professional Challenges: In the workplace, ADHD symptoms can lead to problems with meeting deadlines, staying focused during meetings, and managing complex projects. This can affect career progression and job satisfaction, causing additional stress and frustration.

Private Pay & Insurance Options

I am a private-pay, out-of-network provider. While I don't accept insurance directly, your insurance plan may have out-of-network benefits that will reimburse you a percentage of the session cost.

To assist you, I can provide you with a monthly superbill to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement according to your out-of-network coverage.

In some instances, it is also appropriate to request an in-network exception with your insurance provider for full reimbursement.

During our consultation call we can discuss these options in more detail.
