Welcome!

I'm Katherine Stanglin, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and certified Perinatal Mental Health therapist, dedicated to supporting new parents through the often intense and challenging transition into parenthood.

My educational background is in psychology and social work, and much of my professional life has been spent in the birth world. For 15 years I supported families as a birth and postpartum doula and childbirth educator. I’ve been witness to the depth and complexities of joy and hardship that can be experienced by parents and professionals, alike.

Today, I utilize my history of expertise in maternity care and in clinical therapy to offer specialized counseling and support to women, partners, and maternity professionals through.

I provide support for those navigating infertility, challenging pregnancies, difficult birth experiences, postpartum struggles, relationship challenges and trauma. I also specialize in aiding healthcare professionals who have witnessed and experienced trauma and burnout while caring for families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey, and I strive to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with support and guidance.

Let’s work together to create a path toward a more hopeful you!
